How I Grew to 160k Followers

It didn't happen overnight. When I started posting on TikTok, I had no strategy, no plan, and honestly no expectations. But over time, a few things made the difference.

Consistency was everything

The biggest turning point was simply showing up every day. Even when a video flopped, I posted the next one. The algorithm rewards consistency, and so does your audience — they start to expect and look forward to your content.

Being myself, not a character

The moment I stopped trying to be what I thought people wanted and just was myself, things changed. Authenticity reads on camera. People can tell when you're faking it, and they connect with real.

Trial and error

Not every video goes viral. Most don't. But each one teaches you something — what your audience likes, what hooks them in the first three seconds, what makes them comment. I treated every post as an experiment.

Engaging with the community

Replying to comments, duetting fans, listening to feedback — it all builds a community that actually cares. A follower who feels seen becomes a loyal one.

If you're just starting out, my biggest advice is: keep posting, keep being you, and give it time.
